Dr. Vuppala
Dr. Murthy Vuppala attended medical school at Kurnool Medical College in Kurnool, India. He graduated with his M.D. degree in 1987. He completed a three-year General Surgery residency at Kurnool Medical College followed by a three-year Internal Medicine residency at St. Mary’s Health Center in St Louis. He then completed a three-year Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep fellowship at the University of Arkansas School of Medicine. Dr. Vuppala is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Sleep Disorder Medicine, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American College of Chest Physicians.
Dr. Vuppala has been in practice for 20 years, specializing in both Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine. He evaluates and treats many conditions including sleep apnea, asthma, COPD, chronic cough, lung cancer and shortness of breath. He also provides Pulmonary and Critical Care consultations at both Huntsville and Crestwood hospitals.
