Dr. Sneeringer
Dr. Richard Sneeringer received his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University, then attended medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. He graduated Cum Laude with his M.D. degree in 1986. He completed a three-year Internal Medicine residency at Vanderbilt University, followed by a three-year Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Sneeringer is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Disorder Medicine.
Dr. Sneeringer has been in practice for 30 years, specializing in both Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine. He evaluates and treats many conditions including Sleep Apnea, Asthma, COPD, chronic cough, lung cancer and shortness of breath. He also provides Pulmonary and Critical Care consultations at both Huntsville and Crestwood hospitals.
Dr. Sneeringer is involved in a number of professional societies, including the American Thoracic Society, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the American Association of Sleep Medicine.
